Simon Blake (Chair)

Simon has been a board member of Compact Voice since February 2007 and appointed chair in March 2008. He is national director of Brook the young people's sexual health charity (http://www.brook.org.uk/). In 2004 Simon was seconded to the Department of Health to support the development of children's health policy. His interest and commitment to the Compact comes from 'seeing the relationship' from both sides, having day to day experience of working with local and national government at Brook and his passionate belief and experience that government and the third sector achieve much more together than individually. Since becoming chair Simon has been closely involved in the Future of the Compact Debate and the Refreshed Compact that is currently out for consultation.
