Our Board

The Compact Voice Board are a coalition of leading voluntary and community sector figures who meet to discuss and lead the sectors work on the Compact. The Board takes decisions on Compact issues as the representative body for the voluntary sector.

The board is constituted to represent as much and as diverse a spread of the sector as possible. Members are selected from leading infrastructure bodies so they can represent their part of the sector as fully as possible. Also present are leading frontline organisations with direct experience of the relationship between government and the sector and expert figures from the Community Volunteering and Black and Minority Ethnic sectors. Also the board are leading thinkers on the relationship between government and the voluntary sector.
