Compact Voice launches champions programme

Compact Voice is leading a new programme of recruitment and support for Compact champions in 2010, including online resources and tailored advice.

The campaign builds on research conducted by Compact Voice and the Commission for the Compact, published in the report They are the Champions: the role and impact of local champions (PDF 4.77Mb). The campaign will seek to further engage existing champions and to recruit, mobilise and support champions from both the voluntary sector, and from Government and local public bodies.

As part of the campaign, a new web area for champions has been developed; existing champions and those interested in this area of Compact work can find out more about what's involved, register to be a new champion and receive a bi-monthly e-newsletter.
